This collaboration expresses the values shared by the brand and the artist: a harmonious blend of respect for tradition and visionary innovation, as well as a quest for perfection.  A very strong astrological sign, the Dragon represents ambition, success and power. Throughout his artistic career, Zheng Lu has been inspired by water and its importance in Chinese culture. Reflecting on the timeless wisdom of Lao-tzu's famous quote, "Water benefits all things and does not compete", Zheng Lu explores how water has shaped our understanding of nature and humanity in the context of Eastern culture.

In collaboration with Christofle, Zheng Lu has created a unique work of art that encapsulates the captivating qualities of water, ingeniously fashioned in the form of a dragon. "Flowing": circular flow of water. Based on the principle of the fascinating shape of the Möbius strip (the famous infinity loop in mathematics), it symbolizes the very essence of energy, time and the endless cycle of water as it engages in an eternal dance. Xingyun, The Flowing Dragon stands on a base of grey obsidian, a volcanic stone with a thousand virtues.
