A 48-piece silver plated flatware set in the Malmaison pattern includes service for 12 guests and includes: 12 tablespoons, 12 dinner forks, 12 dinner knives, 12 coffee spoons. This set also comes with a storage box. The inside is made with an anti-tarnish cloth to preserve and protect the flatware.

One of Christofle's most historic patterns, Malmaison typifies the Empire style, with its frieze of delicate palm and lotus leaves and symmetrical design. The name is a nod to the Chateau de la Malmaison, a favored Parisian residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine. It is also the only line that includes a caviar service.

Please note that the flatware presented pieces in the image may differ from the flatware pieces you actually receive. We kindly suggest you contact customer service to confirm the pieces included in the set you’re interested in.

Non-contractual picture. Storage boxes contain modules in Imperial Green anti-tarnish fabric.

Empire Style collection

The “Château de Malmaison” near Paris was the favorite residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine. The palm and lotus leaf frieze and the symmetry of the decoration are typical of the Empire style, which was largely inspired by Antiquity.
