The Royaumont candelabra was created by Christofle in 1959. Its name evokes the famous Cistercian abbey built a few kilometers north of Paris during the reign of Saint Louis. The gadrooned moldings that adorn the foot of this candelabra are an ornamental motif from the classical goldsmith's repertoire. The central loop formed by the arms of light gives this piece its originality.
