Patinated and witnessing the different styles of Art, the table accessories will bring an extra soul to your meal: a napkin ring from the 50's, a knife holder from the 30's, a dish from the 60's, your table, functional and timeless, asserts itself.
Knife Holders
- STRIÉ
The Strié knife holder was created by Christofle in 1954. Between functionality and originality, these models of knife holders of 7.2cm distort the model of the racket, and announce the 50's to 70's shifted creations.
ARCEAU
The Arceau knife holder was created by Christofle in 1937, under the artistic direction of Luc Lanel.
This second hand piece of 8.8cm with strictly geometric lines is emblematic of the Art Deco style of the interwar period. This artistic movement owes its name to the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris, where Christofle had a Pavilion. It celebrates the geometrisation and stylization of shapes, thus advocating a refined and very modern style at the end of the splendor of Art Nouveau.
This emblematic piece of the Maison has strongly participated in the rise of Art Deco at the heart of homes.
