The hors d'oeuvre set is a fine example of the specialisation of cutlery that took place in the second half of the 19th century: there was a cutlery set for every occasion and every type of food! This set belongs to the violon filet model, which was in Christofle's catalogue from 1862 to 1927.​

 

Christofle Vintage Collection pieces are second hand pieces selected and authenticated by Christofle. They are pieces in good condition and restored in our workshops in Yainville (Normandy)...

In order to preserve the beauty of your VINTAGE piece, we recommend that you maintain it with a Christofle product: the silver flash from time to time and the polishing gloves for regular maintenance. For maintenance with the plishing gloves: take off your jewelry and wipe the glove over the entire piece to restore its shine. For maintenance with the silver flash, refer to the product's instructions. Beforehand, be sure to remove the piece from its antioxidant pouch. This pouch is lined with antioxidant fabric to protect your piece from oxidation.
