The Albi Collection takes its name from the French town of Albi. The clean, straight lines and single nave in the famous fortified Albi cathedral inspired the design.
Having become famous, Maison Christofle was solicited by foreign sovereigns such as Emperor Maximilian of Mexico, the Tsar of Russia, Germany of the Kaiser, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Sultan Abdulaziz of the Ottoman Empire.
