Champagne and Ice Buckets, Silverware - Vintage

These "Biarritz" champagne and ice buckets were proposed by the Parisian goldsmith in the 1950s as part of his Gallia collection. Its name evokes the coastal seaside resorts and other holiday resorts that were growing in popularity in the post-war years, and conjures up festive, summertime imaginations where ice refreshes drinks ... and spirits!
